Steve Kirsh: Founder + Managing Partner

Steve relishes in the art of matchmaking. Nothing satisfies him more than bringing together people to co-create a shared and successful outcome.

Born and raised in Philly, Steve caught the entrepreneurial bug and arrived in the Bay Area in 1992, just prior to the Internet revolution. He’s spent over 25 years as a business development and branding executive at award-winning agencies including Red Sky, EVB, Hydrant, Adaptive Path and MetaDesign. Steve co-founded 3 venture-backed startups including the first agency matchmakers, Digital Talent Agency (DTA), deemed by Wired Magazine as the “William Morris Agency for the Web”.

In the Fall of 2015, Steve decided to pursue his passion and entered the emerging Cannabis space with the explicit goal of learning as much as possible in order to elevate the conversation and professionalism befitting of this burgeoning industry. 

Steve has enthusiastically engaged with cultivators, investors, B2C & B2B product and service companies, technology manufacturers, dispensary owners, professional services firms and patients. As a mentor at the Oakland’s Cannabis incubator Gateway, Steve has been advising startups on the intersection of branding and commerce.

When Steve isn’t on the clock, you’ll find him playing his Sonor drum kit, catching an indie flick, and cheering the champion Golden State Warriors with his wife and their two amazing kids.
